Screw plug immersion heaters, fixed or removable products are commonly used.
The heater is used to heat circulating water, rinsing baths, special oils, acids, heat transfer media, heavy fuel oil, air or gas.
Screw immersion heaters are made up of 1, 3 or 6 heating elements, brazed or welded on assembly plugs (metric or British thread size), specific flange available in brass, steel or stainless steel. Heating elements with Watt load up to 16 W/cm2 are made of copper, stainless steel, Inconel or Incoloy.
All screw plug immersion heater devices are designed to heat liquid or gas in static or circulating convection. The heaters consist of 1, 3 or 6 heating elements generally hairpin brazed or welded on assembly plug or flange made of brass steel or stainless steel.
Immersion heater up to 3300 mm can be equipped with immersion well for temperature control device.
These removable immersion heaters are designed to heat liquid in open tanks with low or variable liquid level, such as in degreasing baths process or surface treatment.
Adapted to process requirements and dimensional constraints , these removable devices allow vertical (wall) or horizontal (bottom) heating.
Circulation heaters or line heaters are particularly suitable to heat or maintain temperature of high liquids volume such as water, superheated water, heavy fuel, fuel oils, oils and fluids and thermal heating of pressurized gas such as air, steam (superheater), nitrogen, hydrogen, methane, ... up to pressure of 15 bars max.
The bottom tank immersion heater is made up of 3 or 6 tubular heating element sgenerally mounted in a circle, brazed or welded to a brass, steel or stainless steel screw plug.
From the top, only the horizontal part is a heating part.
